Randy White Files Federal Civil Rights Rico Lawsuit To Vindicate His Rights After His Mistreatment By Nassau Country Police

August 8, 2014

On Friday, August 8 at 1:30 p.m., a press conference will be held in the Law Offices of Frederick K. Brewington at 556 Peninsula Boulevard, Hempstead, New York to announce their filing of a federal civil rights and RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act) action on behalf of his client, Randy White (a/k/a Randy Hoskins). The lawsuit names Thomas Dale, former Nassau County Police Commissioner; John Capece, former Nassau County Chief of Detectives; Sal Mistretta, former Nassau County Police Sergeant; and Gary Melius, Owner, Oheka Castle, as defendants.

The lawsuit alleges that, following his arrest on October 5, 2013, Mr. White was subject to numerous strip searches and cavity searches while he was incarcerated. In the lawsuit, it further states that the defendants conspired to violate Mr. White’s civil rights — in an attempt to have him change his sworn testimony in an ongoing election law case.

Mr. Brewington will be joined by Mr. White and his father. Copies of the federal complaint will be made available.
