DOLORES SHARPE, FEMALE AFRICAN-AMERICAN NASSAU COUNTY POLICE OFFICER, TO BE ARRAIGNED ON CRIMINAL CHARGES

On January 9, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. at Hempstead District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead, New York, 11550, Officer Dolores Sharpe, who is an African-American woman and a veteran of the Nassau County Police Department, will be arraigned following false criminal charges filed by her fellow Officers. These charges arise from a November 29, 2013 incident where Officer Sharpe was wrongfully treated, falsely arrested and abused at the hands of Officers Charles L. Volpe and Victor J. Gladitz.

Officer Sharpe continues to demand the dismissal of all charges, immediate full restoration to duty, with full back pay and that her weapons and property be returned.
